Members of Evolve from New Rickstones Academy attended the Jack Petchey Awards in Braintree to perform and support one of the members receiving an award herself , Eleanor Cruickshank. The event was as always a pleasure to be involved with and Evolve provided the finale performance of our new street choreography, ‘FRAEK’ choreographed by one of our alumni , Louise Lachance. Louise is currently studying Dance at Kingston University and is in her second year. Head of Dance, Lisa Warnock said; We are very lucky as a department, that ex-students want to come back and work with us to create and teach dance and share their skills. Louise and Lisa are also both part of a new adult dance project called FLUX Dance Collective. Both FLUX and EVOLVE will perform at the NRA Dance show in March 2013. Tickets will be on sale after Christmas on the academy website.
