Student Council

There are two Student Councils at New Rickstones Academy – a Teaching & Learning Council and a Community Council.  Students come from a cross section of year groups and Houses, and bring to the meeting any issues which have arisen within either their year group, House or Tutor Group.  Each Council publishes its minutes which are then fed back through tutorial and Assembly.  

We believe that giving students the opportunity to put forward the views of others, plus their own, is a valuable life skill.
