In order facilitate the smooth transition in to this brand new learning environment, we are closed to students for the week of 20th-24th EXCEPT FOR YEAR 11 AND SELECTED 6TH FORM STUDENTS.
Year 11 will have their normal timetable during this week and will be taught by their normal teachers in a suite of rooms on the first floor. They will have access to the Central Café and the outside area at break and lunchtime. Sandwiches and a drink will be provided for them every day; however if they want any other snacks or drinks they will need to bring their own (a reminder that no fizzy or energy drinks are allowed). Year 11 have non-uniform all that week and the Prom Committee will be collecting £2 from each Year 11 student to go towards the Year 11 Prom on 6 July. Please note that during the closure week, Year 11 will be working on a Week A timetable.

Principal's Blog Wednesday 8th February
I’m fed up with the snow and cold now, I would like it all to go away and get back to ‘normal’, whatever that is.
I’ve been over to the new build this morning and had my first meeting in my new office.
All of the tutor room labels are up ready for the student induction tours on Friday and there are books in the new Learning Resource Centre (Library) it feels like a real school!!
I’m so excited, tomorrow is such a big day when the building gets handed over to us – hoorah!!
There’s still a lot of packing to do but its short term pain for long term gain!
