A very warm welcome to New Rickstones Academy Sixth Form.  I hope that this part of the website gives you an insight into life as a Sixth Form student here at NRA.  We endeavour to provide a wide range of subjects, both at A Level and at BTEC levels 2 and 3, plus opportunities to develop leadership responsibilities in the main Academy.

I am very proud of our Sixth Formers' achievements, both in and out of College.  To get a taste of what we offer, why not make an appointment to come and see us.

This year's 3 day Insight Into Leadership event is to be held at Maltings Academy.  It is a compulsory event for all Year 12 Level 3 students, and for those Year 12 Level 2 students intending to re-do the year at Level 3.  Students in Year 13 who are intending to do a third year in the Sixth Form are also invited.

Wednesday 7 July: Sixth Form taster day for Year 10

Friday 16 July: Year 13 Prom to be held at Essex Golf and Country Club

Thursday 19 August: AS/A2/BTEC3 Examination Results and enrolment into Year 13

Precise details of how to pick up your examination results will be posted nearer to the end of this term.

Tuesday 24 August: GCSE Resit/BTEC2 Examination Results and enrolment from Year 11 into Year 12

Wednesday 25 August: Enrolment from Year 11 into Year 12 

Wednesday 10 February marked the inaugural Sixth Form Awards ceremony.  Each subject area was asked to nominate a recipient for an effort award and an achievement award.  In addition, there were nominations for outstanding contribution to Sixth Form or the community, and outstanding Lead Learner.  Well done to all award winners and those who were nominated.
