Uniform and Dress Code

Key Stages 3 and 4

To create a sense of identity and belonging to the N.R.A. community and to alleviate the pressures of keeping up with changes in fashion, all students in Key Stages 3 and 4 must wear full Academy uniform.  This must be adhered to throughout the timetabled day as well as whilst travelling to and from the Academy. All items should be clearly named so that if misplaced they can easily be returned to the owner.

Restrictions:

NO hooded tops, hats, caps or denim.

NO jewellery on grounds of safety and security (except for watches and one small plain sleeper or stud for pierced ears, no more than one per ear). Nose studs, tongue studs and other facial piercings are not allowed.

Discreet make up is permitted.

Hair should be neat and tidy. Extreme or "attention seeking" styles are not suitable. Coloured hair braids are not acceptable.
