I’m fed up with the snow and cold now, I would like it all to go away and get back to ‘normal’, whatever that is.
I’ve been over to the new build this morning and had my first meeting in my new office.
All of the tutor room labels are up ready for the student induction tours on Friday and there are books in the new Learning Resource Centre (Library) it feels like a real school!!
I’m so excited, tomorrow is such a big day when the building gets handed over to us – hoorah!!
There’s still a lot of packing to do but its short term pain for long term gain!

Had my first Cadbury’s cream egg of 2012, mmmm.
Just back form the another tour of the new build – the cricket nets are up in the sports hall it looks fab!
I tried out the ‘air lock’ entrance to the dark room in Art, it’s great.
I was showing round the Head of Southview Special School; we hope some of their learners can use the new facilities too.
I’ve signed off the maps of each ready for the student tours next Friday.
It’s getting sooo close!

This week I have been locating lockers around the new building and packing up my office which is nearly done.
By the way the pink (well raspberry) wall in my office looks fab, especially with the matching furniture.
Tuesday
Year 8 buffet lunch, what a treat!
I loved the dip for the veg and the crab tart was delicious. Well done to year 8, I can’t wait for the next one.
Wednesday
My first cup of Fairtrade coffee form the staffroom, I must say I can’t tell the difference. Well done Abby
